Shengke was a volunteer for London Olympics’ Games, responsible for the RiverBank Hockey Centre

Oct 2005

Shengke received National Volunteer Award jointly issued by Home Office, Volunteering England and Community Service Volunteers for his contributions to Chinese community in Manchester.

July 2018

Shengke pays regular visits to local schools in Trafford since 2015, giving Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics talks to encourage students to pursue a science and engineering profession.

Mar 2005

Shengke was the first Chinese elected at the Postgraduate Office in Students Union of the University of Manchester. He campaigned for “24 hours library” and “the Learning Commons”.
