Recently many Hong Kong migrants arrived in Trafford, particularly in Sale and Altrincham. It is known that they are looking for guidance and help on housing, work, education and health care in order to quickly integrate and contribute to local communities.
Sir Graham Brady, MP of Altrincham and Sale West, met up with two representatives of Trafford Hong Kongers CIC in Altrincham Town Hall on Friday 17th Sep 2021. The key questions were discussed on National Insurance number, Driving License and local schools. The Government replied to the three questions raised by Sir Graham Brady MP, as below:

An online survey has been created for people arriving in the North West from Hong Kong on a British National (Overseas) visa. The survey which is being run by North West Regional Strategic Migration Partnership (RSMP) will help the understand the location and needs of people from Hong Kong more easily.
Altrincham has always been a welcoming place for new families and local conservatives want that to continue. If you are and/or you know any Hong Kong migrants who need help, please let us know and we will try our best to support them to live, study and work in Altrincham.
