Coronavirus: Trafford community groups urged to access available financial support

Forwarded

Trafford community groups are being encouraged to apply for grants up to £5,000 from leading charities in a bid to help them respond to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Forever Manchester and the National Lottery Community Fund are both offering financial assistance to groups who are supporting the borough’s most vulnerable residents.

In addition, UK Community Foundations in partnership with Forever Manchester is actively raising money in support of the initiative.

To be eligible to apply for the Forever Manchester Community Support Fund, applicants will need to be a constituted group, have a bank account, and all relevant safeguarding policies in place.

In addition, groups can also apply for support from the National Lottery Community Fund.

Priority will be given to organisations that are supporting people most at risk of illness due to COVID-19.

Find more information and details on how to apply visit the Forever Manchester Community Support Fund website and the National Lottery Community Fund website
