The Nightingale hospital in Manchester is ready to take its first patients after being built within 14 days.


Located in the heart of Manchester, at the Manchester Central conference centre – formerly known as G-MEX – the NHS Nightingale Hospital North West is a key facility in the region’s response to Covid-19. The new hospital is part of the huge NHS mobilisation plan to deal with the growing number of Covid-19 cases.


Interserve has been tasked with delivering catering, cleaning, maintenance, portering, concierge and waste management services. To apply for one of the roles available at the Nightingale in Manchester, please apply through our Join Bank page here


PLEASE NOTE: To work in this site, you need to be able to commit to a minimum of 48 hours per week on a 4-week rota for the lifespan of this Nightingale hospital.


The Nightingale North West Hospital will house 650 beds for COVID-19 patients, with capacity for another 100 beds, should they be required.


The majority of patients will be those in the process of being 'stepped-down' from ICU and critical care beds at neighbouring hospitals.
