Forwarded

Trafford Council has prepared over £47.5 million for businesses who may need help due to the COVID-19.

The local authority has identified 3,896 businesses in scope and 80% (3,142) of businesses have already applied and received the financial assistance. The total value of payments is £38,650,000 and the average payment of each business is around £12,000.

Businesses who haven’t applied for the funding need to ensure they register and submit their bank details to the Council.

For the Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Business grants, businesses operating in the sector are eligible for a grant payment of £10,000 where the rateable value of their premises is £15,000 or less and £25,000 where the rateable value is greater than £15,000 and less than £51,000.

If you are eligible for either of the Grants, please go to the Council’s funding application page as soon as possible.
