It is vital to have better green infrastructure, such as enough electrical charges in our public car parks to enable more electric vehicles to be used in Altrincham. 

 

As a PhD mechanical engineer in the clean energy sector, I support renewables (wind, solar, hydrogen etc) as well as practical conservation issues such as insulation and de-carbonisation policies.

 

If elected, my background will significantly add to the collective Trafford Council knowledge on this high priority policy. I plan to

 

• Plant more trees;

• Have more electrical charges in our public car parks

• Expand and improve access to Altrincham green areas (John Leigh Park, Oldfield Brow and Thurlestone)

• Install of new seating areas and lighting

• Install new cycle parking facilities

• Improve walking routes through Altrincham town centre
