Crime, anti-social behaviour, and graffiti are issues that affect all our lives. I support a greater police presence on your streets in order to fight crime.

 

I believe that everyone should feel safe and secure in their homes and communities, and will work with Altrincham Police, local communities, local Neighbourhood Watch groups and other partners to combat crime, anti-social behaviour and domestic violence to ensure that Altrincham is welcoming and safe.

One of the reasons that Altrincham is a popular place to live is its low crime rate. I want to keep crime as low as possible and I'll work with the Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) to prevent serious violence and knife crime in Altrincham.

If elected, I will work with the Altrincham Police and VRU to provide positive, visible and active policing with police officers spending more time on the beat. Additionally, I will ensure that all CCTV cameras are fully functional and effective and used for crime prevention. I will help local community to set up Neighbourhood Watch as well.
